BrainMo is designed primarily for UK primary school teachers, from Reception through to Year 6. It is especially useful for teachers who manage weekly timetables, curriculum documents and changing classroom priorities.
You add your school timetable and upload your curriculum planning. BrainMo then organises your lessons into the appropriate timeblocks, giving you a clearer view of what you are teaching and when.
BrainMo supports common file types, including Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and PDFs. Clearly structured planning documents will usually produce the best results.
No fixed template is required. However, clear lesson headings and labels such as “Learning Objective”, “LO” or “WALT” help BrainMo understand and organise your planning more accurately.
Yes. You can move, add, edit or remove timeblocks to reflect how your class actually works. BrainMo is designed to support real school weeks, where lessons and schedules often need to change.
BrainMo helps you move unfinished or displaced learning to another suitable point in the timetable. This means lessons are less likely to be forgotten when assemblies, events or unexpected changes affect the week.
Yes. You can add links to presentations and other online resources to individual lessons, making it easier to keep the materials you need alongside your planning.
BrainMo supports uploading files from Google Drive, OneDrive or your device. Some resources may currently need to be uploaded or linked manually, and deeper integrations are continuing to be developed.
BrainMo is currently designed mainly for desktop and laptop use, where teachers can easily view and manage their full timetable. More mobile-friendly ways to interact with BrainMo are also being explored.
